Exam
“The driving exam is conducted in Estonian. If the examinee wishes to communicate with the examiner in another language, they must bring an interpreter to the exam. Any language other than Estonian and Estonian sign language is considered a foreign language,” states the website of the transport department.
For everyone taking the exam in Tallinn, a translation service is available to ensure you have a clear understanding of the assignments and questions, which will, in turn, allow you to focus more on the traffic and reduce stress.
⚠️ You must register for the translation service at least 3 business days before the exam.
NB!
If the examiner conducts the driving test in Russian, the fee for the translation service is non-refundable.
Service cost: $60
Why do you need a translator?
The interpreter service for the driving exam helps candidates who do not speak the official language to successfully complete the tests. The interpreter ensures accurate understanding of the questions and instructions in the practical test.
The language barrier can cause misunderstandings and confusion during the exam, impacting the outcome.
